Cosmic Flux: An Astronomical Adventure
Cosmic Flux was the start of a brand new year for us, and it marked the beginning of something truly stellar. We broke records with our biggest festival yet, bringing in over 500 people through those Cadron Creek gates. The Chinese Connection Dub Embassy, Rochelle Bradshaw and Hypnotion, and many more blasted a reggae groove we could really get down to. Resonant Frequency, Brady Cagle, and others shows us a wide selection of electronica so people could dance under the stars. We had more vendors than ever before, our largest yoga workshop yet, and we watched fireworks! They say pictures are worth a thousand words, and this is a weekend we can't describe, so here are some of our favorite memories from Cosmic Flux. Thank you, to everyone, for jumping into the Flux!
(Photography by Rick Dipley, John Shute, and Sarah Farah)

Cosmic Flux was an astronomical weekend full of natural, stellar beauty. After the sun set over the grassy, Arkansas mountains, the stars casted a shining light over the community.

When we opened our gates, people entered to start an incredible journey. It was time for connection, and people had waited all Winter to jump into the Flux.

Drum sets, microphones, synthesizers, and more filled our stage as the crowds filled the festival. As usual, it was a diverse, interesting lineup. We loved it!

We had a succulent array of delicious, home-made delights. Vegan tacos from Italy, cheeseburger fries, and fresh pie are just a few examples of what we had to offer.

For every person, there was a different sort of tune. We had something for everybody, from progressive rock to experimental glitch-hop. You were bound to hear something that made you smile.

Many artists from all around the United States came to Cosmic Flux to paint the world around them and express their colorful perspectives. We grew our art tent this time by adding more artists and support for selling their work.

Our talented performance artists moved their bodies in all sorts of ways, captivating our crowds and enriching their lives through expressive dance.

An inspiring amount of diverse talent showed up to our doorsteps, representing a truly open, down to earth community that we absolutely love.

Even families enjoyed themselves, putting on all sorts of activities for their kids at our dedicated family camp.

We had more reggae than ever before this weekend. Chinese Connection Dub Embassy, Rochelle Bradshaw and Hypnotion, and more more came to the stage.

Someone launched fireworks for the very first time at Flux, and we didn't even know it was going to happen. It was the land owner, and it was a surprise we won't ever forget.

We introduced our door to absolutely somewhere and positively nowhere at Cosmic Flux. This gateway to another dimension represents a portal to our world. It is up to you to decide where it goes.

It really is interesting to see what goes on at these events... we can't truly express the experience into words.

At every show, we discover something new about ourselves and the world around us. It's an amazing universe we live in.

Leave your worries and troubles at the door. It's time to live in the now and enjoy the present.

There is a reason we call it "The Flux Family".

There really isn't another word we can use. We are a family, and everyone is constantly supporting each other. Its a necessary collaboration, a part of something we keep watching blossom into something totally incredible.

Bring your friends, whoever you can, and let's all be a part of something awesome.

Be yourself. Sing a tune. Draw a little something. Cook some food. Sleep next to the fire. Hug a friend. Never, ever, never ever, ever, stop being your self.

Until next time, Flux Family. Thank you for an amazing weekend in the woods. It was the best start of the year that we could ask for. We look forward to Gaia Flux in April!
